Identify the correct meaning of the underlined. r) an important person s) an experienced person t) a social person u) genius वरील प्रातिनिधिक प्रश्नांच्या आधारे पुढील मुद्दे लक्षात येतात. व्याकरणावर पाच आणि उताऱ्यावर पाच अशी प्रश्नांची विभागणी आहे. व्याकरणावरील प्रश्नांमध्येही समानार्थी, विरुद्धार्थी शब्दांवर जास्त भर असलेला दिसून येतो. त्यानंतर वाक्प्रचार व म्हणी व नंतर वाक्यरचना व इतर नियम अशा क्रमाने अभ्यासक्रमातील मुद्दय़ांना महत्त्व देण्यात आलेले दिसून येते. बारावीपर्यंतच्या अभ्यासात इंग्रजी व्याकरणाचा व्यवस्थित अभ्यास केलेला असेल तर सहजपणे सोडविता येतील अशी व्याकरणावरील प्रश्नांची काठीण्य पातळी आहे. समानार्थी विरुद्धार्थी शब्द आणि वाक्यातील शब्दप्रयोग यांचे प्रश्न पाहता मूलभूत व्याकरणाची उजळणी आणि रोजचे वचन असेल तर आत्मविश्वासाने सोडविता येतील असे आहेत हे लक्षात येते. रोजचे पेपर वाचन किंवा इतर कोणतेही इंग्रजी वाचन (व्हॉट्सअ‍ॅप, ट्विटर, इन्स्टाग्राम, फेसबुकवरील पोस्ट्स बिलकूल नाही) तयारीसाठी उपयोगी ठरेल. उताऱ्यांची शब्दमर्यादा १०० पासून ३५० शब्दांपर्यंत अशी कोणतीही असू शकते हे या प्रश्नपत्रिकांच्या विश्लेषणातून दिसून येते. त्यामुळे ज्या वर्षी कमी शब्दांचा उतारा त्या वर्षी वेळेचा बोनस मिळातो. पण उताऱ्याची लांबी जास्त असेल तरी प्रश्न हे खूप जास्त कठीण नसल्याने गुणांवर त्याचा फारसा परिणाम होण्याची शक्यता नाही. मात्र त्यासाठी आवश्यक ती तयारी आणि सराव झालेला असणे आवश्यक आहे. या विश्लेषणाच्या आधारे दोन्ही भाषा विषयांच्या तयारीबाबत पुढील लेखामध्ये चर्चा करण्यात येईल.
