हिंदू धर्माच्या देवदेवतांचा अनादर केल्यामुळे नेटकऱ्यांनी अॅमेझॉनवर बहिष्कार टाकण्याचा निर्णय घेतला आहे. यासाठी युझर्सने ट्विटरवर #BoycottAmazon हे कॅम्पेन सुरू केले आहे. अॅमेझॉनने आपल्या वेबसाईटवर विक्रीसाठी टाकलेल्या काही वस्तूंवर हिंदू देवदेवतांचे चित्र छापण्यात आले आहे. हिंदूंच्या धार्मिक भावना दुखावल्यामुळे युझर्सने अॅमेझॉनवर बहिष्कार टाकण्याचा निर्णय घेतला आहे.
अॅमेझॉनवर हिंदू देवदेवतांचे चित्र असलेले डोअर मॅट आणि टॉयलेट कव्हरची विक्री करण्यात येत असल्याची माहिती काही युझर्सने ट्विटरवरून दिली. यामध्ये भगवान शंकर, गणपती, हनुमान, गौतम बुद्ध या देवतांचे चित्र असल्याचे सांगण्यात आले आहे.

अॅमेझॉनच्या या कृत्याच्या सर्वच स्तरातून निषेध करण्यात येत आहे. दरम्यान, अनेक युझर्सनी सोशल मीडियावर #BoycottAmazon हे कॅम्पेन सुरू केले आहे. काही युझर्सनी आपल्या मोबाईलचा स्क्रीन शॉट शेअर करत अॅमेझॉनचे अॅप डिलिट केल्याचीही माहिती दिली. तर अनेकांनी हे अॅप डिलिट करण्याचे आवाहनही केले आहे.
