Shiv Sena’s annual Dussehra rally took place this year as well at Shivaji Park in Mumbai. Addresing to the rally Shivsena chief Uddhav Thackeray said, India needs a “strong” prime minister, and reiterating his party’s support to Bharatiya Janata Party’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.
The need for a “strong person” to lead the country was necessary as the Congress party had become weak, he told the Shiv Sena’s first Dussehra rally after the late Bal Thackeray’s demise a year ago.
