“Ganesh Festival has become the festivals of restrictions”

There are unlimited restrictions on Ganesh Mandal’s
during Ganesh festival, the member of Dagdusheth Halwai ganesh mandal
in Pune said that at Loksatta Loudspeaker event. Our volunteers works
24/7 during Ganesh festival but nobody has soft corner to them. People
around the world talk about Pune’s Ganesh festival but in our state we
don’t have respect for the same, he added later. He said, Every year
we come up with new list of restrictions for Ganesh mandal’s but
nobody is interested to tackle the real issue.
