Safety and security measures undertaken during Ganesh festival in Pune

In the wake of the recent blasts in Pune, the police
force is leaving no stone unturned to make the city safe and secured.
However, citizens too should support the administration and remain
cautious to avoid any untoward incident during the festival season,
said by Govt. officials in Loksatta Loudspeaker event in Pune. Ganesh
Mandal’s representatives also agreed this but urge that, Police must
create good rapo with volunteers for rest of the year also, which will
help them to solve law & order issues in the city.
