RSS don’t have political ambitions and we have helped Congress Party as well — Mohan Bhagwat

In an interaction with reporters during Idea Exchange organized by Loksatta, the Marathi daily of The Indian Express group RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said, RSS never wanted to get into the politics. We never hide our political ambition because we never had that. Those who ask help from us, we help them. I personally had helped Congress party as well and we never hide that. All political parties are equal to us and we are ready to help everyone. RSS founder Dr. Hedgewar was in politics too but he thought that if we get into vote politics will not be able to work for society as we want. Politics is a part of life but we have to keep these two things separate.
